The series evokes the otherworldly quality that defined the pandemic.  I was fascinated by how the normally bustling Cambridge restaurants were abandoned in an uninviting state. But who can blame them, we all thought it was all going to be a few weeks at most.

The reflective glass juxtaposed the outside world with the stranded chairs and tables.

 

 Some of these places never recovered from the financial loss during this period and had to close down for good.
